charming stay near parks and historic sites

We enjoyed a great couple of days relaxing at this wonderful place, especially appreciating how close it was to Windsor Castle Park, just a short stroll away, and also enjoyed the nearby shops and 1700's era homes that added so much charm to our visit.

Had a fantastic time with friends at this cozy spot! We explored the charming shops downtown and enjoyed a lovely stroll at Windsor Castle Park. The staff was super friendly, and the atmosphere was so welcoming. Don’t miss the delicious food at the IBX bar, perfect for winding down after a day of exploring!

However, the hot tub in our room was disappointing. The controls were broken, and it seemed like it hadn't been properly maintained for a while.

The location was perfect with stunning views. the clam chowder and sweet potato biscuits were to die for!

I found the decorations so charming, especially the lovely river views that made me feel like I was whisked away to a cozy Southern retreat. The access ramps were a nice touch for seniors like me.

Better lighting in rooms would be helpful.

Perfect for Families Looking to Relax

We stayed for the fireworks and it was something else. Locals came in boats, cars, you name it, just to join the fun, and there was live music everywhere.

It wasn't exactly cheap but for what we got, I can’t really complain.

During our two-night stay in the Deluxe Room Balcony, we enjoyed a lovely dinner at the on-site restaurant. The seafood dishes were fresh and flavorful, but the highlight was the quiche! Perfect for a cozy evening after a day of exploration. Pro tip, try to visit during off-peak hours for less wait!

My stay at Smithfield was incredibly rewarding. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate my needs, allowing me to park my 25ft trailer across the road without any hassle. The environment was peaceful and conducive for work, with clean, comfortable rooms and charming decor that made me feel at home. The beautiful view of the water served as a relaxing backdrop during my business travel. I highly recommend Smithfield for business travelers.

The lack of elevators may be inconvenient for some guests.

Just a perfect match for a swift stopover in Smithfield with fantastic value for money. The bedspreads and towels were amazing, we even asked where to get them! Parking can be tricky during busy times, so plan ahead.
